About SQLTeam Database Consulting

The SQLTeam group was formed in 2008 at the height of the global financial crisis by a group of database experts formerly employed by world-renowned companies such as DataArt, EPAM and Microsoft. By that time, we had accumulated enough experience to start an IT outsourcing business. We specialize in delivering data-driven projects on SQL Server platforms. The difficult global economic situation, on the one hand, could be a reasonable factor in leaving the group without any opportunity to help it grow. However, we approached the situation from a more positive point of view. We decided that if we can hold out through the first tough year, the group will grow rapidly. To our surprise, this growth was quite fast due to the fact that the companies we worked for found it difficult to keep contracts. Thus, clients left, and the staff was reduced.

In 2021, we decided to merge our group into a consolidated organization to most effectively assist clients on database issues.

In our work, we use a distributed model, which has successfully proven itself and is still largely used today. This allowed us to significantly reduce costs, because we did not have the money to maintain offices.

We focus on data centric solutions on top of SQL Server, allowing us to be the masters of our field.

Along with this, we expand our knowledge in the subject areas in which our clients work and, as a result, are able to offer a wider range of consulting services. The combination of IT expertise and the area where it is applied allows us to achieve significantly better results than other outsourcing companies.

With a wealth of opportunities created in difficult times and a solid background behind us, we started working on expanding our client base in 2016. Now that we have a streamlined process and infrastructure, our next step is serious scale-out.
